而PF新版鋰電8878(Power Functions Rechargeable Battery Box)已經開始販售了，標榜電力持久， 重量更輕，鋰電上的旋鈕還可以調整電壓大小，控制馬達的速度！但是價格不斐，一顆要49.9美金。
最划算的就是這個組合包(K8882)：LEGO® Power Functions Train Accessories Pack！看名稱就知 道，這是專為新火車規格所設計的Pack，當然也可以在使用在樂高動力機械喔！
